how do you go about redeeming the vouchers

if we shop at tescos we obviously get points on our card how do we purchase our eurotunnel crossing then

many thanks

elaine

When  you get your vouchers in your quaterly mailing you can either fill in the back of the rewards brochure or go online to exchange them. Once they are exchanged they are valid for 6 months.

You can look on the eurotunnel website to see how many vouchers you need to exchange.

Then when you have received the vouchers phone eurotunnel to book. We are going on our "free crossing" this saturday, So exciting.

You arn't actually going free, you could have spent the vouchers at Tesco. Its funny how people forget that. Good offer tho. we used £50 in vouchers for car/caravan return this summer.

Yes, but if you spend the vouchers at Tesco, you only get face value, ie £30 = £30. When we have used them for the tunnel, that same £30 is worth £120 on the tunnel, so in my mind that is three quarters free then.

Ina, just what i was going to say! Vouchers are worth 4 times their value when exchangeing them for Eurotunnel vouchers. Although i hate to shop at our Tesco, we have little choice and it does pay for our crossing to France. As we are not going to France this year we already have enough 'saved' for our corssing next year!

You can change your tesco vouchers for double the face value for purchases other than food.

Yes, but only for certain things, and still not as good as getting 4 times the value anyway

The tunnel for us this year was only £20 more than the cheapest ferry and the train leaves at 10am the only ferry i could get was 3am!! thats on the busiest august weekend, look on the eurotunnel website for the cheapest time slots then book it through camping club to grab a discount (if you are a member), if you go direct to the camping club they tend to push you on the pre 6am slots.

No I don't shop at tesco, that place is like hell on earth! I think its actually bigger than the village we live in, all those people and trolleys...grrrrrrr!. We use the local butcher etc and Aldis mainly, the butcher still slices the Bacon as thick as you want it! and the burgers don't oooze fat.
