We are gonig there the last week in August and are staying on a pitch with private facilities.  It is the attractions for the kids that appeals.  We are using our tesco vouchers to pay for most of the cost of our night-time ferries.  I will leave a review after then.

If this the site next to the theme park we visited here 6 years ago - in fact it was so good we went twice. The theme park is not Alton Park standards but my two boys - 12 and 15 at the time thought they had died and gone to heaven - free unlimited access - they used to pop into the park whilst we had a quiet breakfast. Water park - indoor is fab. Great tennis courts and amazing biking - we biked to a wonderful beach all on cycle tracks.

Apologies if i have the wrong site but if a frog is the emblem I can thorughly recommend it!

2 hours? What car do you drive lol

Never been to Duinrell (must get around to it at some point) but hear the water park is excellent.

Only one thing I want to add....

From their website, I read that the biggest water attractions are only for strong swimmers and a swimming certificate is needed

Wouldnt mind being shot out of a water cannon myself though :)

Might be easier for you to get the train to Amsterdam central station, parking in Amsterdam can be a nightmare and i personally hate driving in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is worth a visit and if you get the chance to take a river trip then go for it.
