We have dutch friends and met up with them here last year - fabulous site.  No complaints at all - site is split according to age of kids and we thought this a great idea - teenagers away from babes etc.  Lots to see nearby as well.  One problem with Lux was finding a shop - there are not many big supermarkets and the small shops can be quite pricey, however, the petrol is a great deal cheaper so its swings and roundabouts.  Remember to fill up before leaving.

Just come back yesterday from holiday near there. I stayed at Echternachebruch on the German side of the river from Echternach. The difference in price is quite a lot. A man on the site I was at said the only thing you buy in Luxembourg is petrol and tobacco as they are cheap and he was right. As for supermarkets the local chain in Luxembourg is called Cactus and there is a store in Echternach. As for prices, 2 course lunch for 2 people with wine in Luxembourg city centre was €45 A basic salad or 2 in Larochette, where you are staying, was €20 and smothered in mayonaise, yuk. A nice area though with many waymarked walks.

Forgot to mention. Diesel in Belgium was €0.95 slightly cheaper than France, €0.98. In Luxembourg it was €0.86
