Your route is Roscoff, Rennes, Nantes, Niort, Bordeaux, Agen, Toulouse, Narbonne, Le cap.

Your toll car/caravan 90€ 1 way

Distance 700mls

For overnight stop, decide where that might be then Google town name ie "Saintes camping municipal" to bring up google maps of campsites in the local area.

If you're turning up on a busy ween-end the last few miles between Narbonne and the Cap can be very very slow! I talk from experience. So try and get your timing right if you don't want to sit in traffic.

We've been to that area several times, and I would agree about the traffic.  The N112 is the problem - it's not dual carriageway in parts, and in high season can be very slow-moving.

Where are you staying?  We stayed at Camping Neptune at Grau d'Agde in May, and had a great time.

Good one!   We did the naturist beach at Serignan Plage this year, and then followed this up with a first France4Naturisme visit to Domaine de Sabliere in the Ardeche/Gard border.  We had a fabulous time and are going back in late August!

We may bump into you!

Might meet in the middle of the river then Val, 'cos we may be at La Genese opposite, aint decided yet, if weathers kind in Dordogne/SW coast we will probabley stop there rather than go further sth but we shall keep Genese in reserve.

That's just what we do, Kabbes - head for the best weather, which we usually find around the Mediterranean/just inland area.

The reason we chose Domaine de Sabliere is that it was in the area we love, and takes Camping Cheques, so cost us only £11.95 per night, all in! (The current cost per Camping Cheque is £13.40 but we bought a lot when they were cheaper).  The setting alongside a river is just what we love, and it was fantastic for swimming and canoeing.  (Pics now on my gallery).  There's another site, Domaine de Origan, in Haute Provence, which takes Camping Cheques from 22nd August - have you been there?  If the weather is promising in that area we may head there first and see what it's like.

Dont really do Provence, Val but we have been to Belezy in't past which is on the France4 website. Its nr Mont Ventoux so a touristic area. The campsite is nice enough, big pool & bar area, worth a visit, expensive, but they all are now unless you go for small & basic.

Belezy is another Camping Cheque site - but not until later in September.  I quite like the look of the site though.

We saved fourteen euros on the 'site tariff' at Sabliere, using Camping Cheques.
