Off to Logis for the first time in a few weeks. We should be arriving around lunchtime, so, in theory, we may have a few pitches to choose from.

Would anyone that's been there give me an indicator as to where to head for a nice quiet pitch? Any areas to avoid or are they all as nice as they seem from reading this site?

Regards

Archroy

We're arriving on 13/08 and have selected row M, as we like the sunny pitches. Logis has full shaded pitches in the woods, partly shaded pitches and sunny pitches. Being away from the park means you should be in a quietish spot, however after 10pm it's rarely noisy anyway. If you have young children you may wish to be nearer the park, or near the wash blocks. The restaurant, shop and pool are situated far enough away from the pitches so you are not disturbed by them.

When are you going? We're normally there this time of year and it's almost full. If you've made a reservation, ask Mr Gagnard to email you a site map (I can't find mine at the moment) then I'll be able to tell you which pitches to aim for.

Thanks for the quick reply

We'll be there from the 6th and booked early after reading the good comments on here. We have one fourteen year old daughter with us and I am under orders to get a sunny pitch. (I wouldn't mind the chance of a little shade myself, but I have no say ;)

In that case, try to aim for rows H, I, L, M, N, O, P or R, as these are the sunniest (I found my map). We're bringing our 14 and 11 year old sons. Having camped at Logis for 3 years, we're bringing our caravan this time. It's a great site - happy hols!

Askill: Thanks for taking the time to reply; it's very much appreciated. After the drive and night crossing, this info will be invaluable.
We've been to the area many times before, and are looking forward to it very much.

Thanks again.
