Does anyone know how much the tolls would be for a car and caravan travelling from Le Havre to La Roche Sur Yon in the Vendee. I have seen people recommend both the route via Caen, Rennes, Nantes (which we have done before) and also the toll route through Le Mans and Angers. We will be travelling on Friday 6th August so any suggestions etc would be much appreciated. Thanks J

Sorry it must be the excitement of going in a weeks time! Our ferry is a night crossing on the 6th and we travel through France on the 7th!
I have looked at many route planners but I had hoped for comments from people who have actually done these routes as to which one they prefer. Sometimes it's nice to have a human opinion instead of a computer print out. I will probably stick to the Rennes/Nantes route as I know it's pretty good, unless anyone out there can advise me otherwise.
Made the mistake last year of travelling on the first Saturday in August so Le Havre to La Rochelle took 12 hours!!! We're a week later and a Friday so here's hoping.

We went Calais to La Roche sur yon on the tolls. While I know this isnt your route and discounting the first toll from Boulogne to Abbeyville. The tolls from Rouen to La Roche were just under 35 euros. Hope this helps.
just got back from the vendee thursday after 18 nights we did rennes nantes le roch sur yon route and paid 2.7 euros on the a83 we did the portmouth caen ferry.i think the la mans angers route is around 20 something euros took us 4 1/2 hous driving from caen to st julien des landes.hope you have a great holiday.
We just drove back from NOIRMOUTIER to Le havre with a stop in Beamont sur sarthe on the way. We went from Noirmoutier to Nantes, round the periphique then autoroute to angers, on to Beaumont. Easy drive, no problems probably cost about 35 euros all in. From Beamont we went up the autoroutes all the way (Alencon, Lisieux, and then to le havre). Took only two hours and I THINK it was around 25 euros. All routes clear and great driving.
