Hi Kaz,
There is loads and loads to do but also a similar number of opportunities to spend money!
The weather was fantastic (every day well up above 30 degrees but with a colling breeze from approx noon to 6pm) and it is easy to spend time on the beach or for teenagers to socialise around their own pool. In the evening there was music or other entertainment at one of the bars each night. There is an excellent ice cream parlour, creperie, take away, fish stall and supermarket.
Our 'teenagers' (12, 17 & 18) had windsurfing lessons one morning (£50 each for 2 hours) which they enjoyed, horse-riding down the road was the same sort of price and was similarly enjoyed. Banana boating from the beach was £10pp. In addition they did a day trip to the waterpark in Roses (£30 each including bus) an also a day trip and tour of Barcelona - all arranged on site.
Don't miss a walk down the beach to the local village and an evening trip into the old part of L'Escala.
The site is huge and very busy with people. But it is clean, relaxed and we never had to queue for shopping/showers/bar or anything at all.
By the way, you are on Plus pitches? If so, you get a bayonet connection when you arrive for the water supply to your pitch. But most people use a hose pipe to get the water where they want it (eg fill containers, spray yourself off etc etc). If you have a hose pipe then take it with you - together with a jubilee clip to fix it onto the bayonet fitting.
Hope this helps
Chris
