there are loads of wifi spots in Holland, a lot of campsites even offer it. It would probably be cheaper for you buying a wifi card in holland rather than using a uk company.

If you are coming to holland and get access to wifi then i will give you a tip.

If the wifi providor is KPN, you will go straight to there home page when you open internet explorer. Click on the Union jack to go to the english pages.

Scroll down the screen and you will see that they offer a free 30 minute trial. sign up for the trial to get your free 30 minutes.

when the 30 minutes is up you can restart your computer and do the same process over and over again simply give a false e-mail address and away you go again. just take a note of the user name and password they give you.

Macdonalds and Starbucks have free wifi and many campsites have free or low cost connection, usually in the bar area. If you are a BT internet subscriber and have joined the BT Open Zone you can see a map of other BT Open Zone members wifi spots in your holiday area. If you only want to check emails, bank balance etc then you just park in that street and piggyback onto that members wifi. It is quite widespread as I checked the area I am going to next week and it came up with a map of 40 or so wifi spots.

My laptop has travelled with me for a few years now. I generally plot my campsites by whether they have WiFi access as many of them now have. Its not always possible but I reckon that about 75% of the sites we use have some sort of wireless connection. Cost can vary at lot from free to about €8 an hour. I also take my Vodafone Dongle with me and that costs £5 for 24 hours use but limited to 25mb download.

In France almost every McDonalds had free wifi access. My wife would park me up in one of them and head off shopping with the kids, one time she left me there for two hours but I thought she was only gone about ten minutes!

True story.
