After much deliberation we have finally booked this campsite for 22-29th August (having first week on the med).
A couple of questions....

Does anyone know what time their pools are open until? Our pitch is quite near to pools and just wondered what time the splashing finishes. Our kids will probably be in to the bitter end anyway!!

What time does takeaway/restaurant close?

Many thanks in advance

Why not email the site, and ask?  They speak very good English and won't have a problem.  We've been MANY times over the years, but not since the pool was extended and the management changed, so I can't answer your questions exactly.  I know the take-away was open until at least 9.00 pm when we were last there.

It will be 'the bitter end' in that pool!!! It's sooo cold! Was only there last year and can't remember at all- sorry. As Val said email the site, they are really helpful. I am very jealous - wish we were going back.

Have a great time.

went there last August ....

pool was open approx 9-9 .... and was 'kin freezing ...was new for 2009, and was very impressive..... takeaway/cafe was open till late, at least 10pm ...... it gets really busy as they have a real pizza oven .. we had their pizza's a number of times ... they were good value/good quality especially considering its a captive audience ....

Val Cantobre is on the river Dobre, make sure you go on the river dipping trip - FREE -  we caught 3 snakes .... made the missus shiver to think that she'd been paddling in the same rock pools all week - LOL - once the kids knew where to look, they went on to catch at least one a day on each visit .... and let us know how the beaver family are getting on, they had youngsters last year (15 mins walk on the river bank)
