A few years ago we did Hull - Rotterdam in September with no fixed destinaion or bookings. No reason why you shouldn't have a great time!

Hi

Go for the buffet restaurant for dinner, well worth the price, food is good and plentiful, breakfast is your choice, but don't be rushed, they will tell you what time they will arrive, and an hr before gives plenty of time for b/fast. They don't throw you out of your cabin like they do on cross channel.

Belgian customs have been a bit of a pain this year, so be prepared for a slow departure from the terminal, depending how much traffic is on board. ( Hull is of course 10 times worse, but then you have a holiday to refleect on)

Out of the docks at Zeebrugge, up to the first roundabout, head left along the jetty, next roundabout straight on under the underpass, (assuming you're not intending to stay in Zeebrugge), and you're on your way.For the first 10/15 miles or so around Brugge, the little grey boxes on the traffic light junctuions are speed cameras, and the limit is quite low, so if the lights are with you, keep a check on your speed.

Hope you have a great holiday.

FM

Cheers, that is very useful. We have pre-paid breakfast, but not dinner. Thanks for the directions too.

No snoring, but with any luck there will be other noises to keep people awake
