I am also looking to book the tunnel for next year. Never used it before but from previous posts it looks like you can book from around the end of September, early October.
Thanks for the replies I will look again in a few weeks I have noticed that Spring/ early summer is out but I am waiting for July and August, so hope it won't be too long a wait.
I used the Tunnel for the 1st time this year and apart from the journey time saved we didn't have to go through customs or passport checks after leaving the train. Short wait when the train stops then off onto the motorway.
its far quicker than the ferry in all aspects.....not as far to drive (from the north anyway) , quicker loading, quicker crossing then straight out onto the motorway. as long as i get the vouchers i`ll use the tunnel
just got a quote for eurotunnel with caravan for next june/july , working out at £112 return WITH tesco vouchers , so should have maybe half to come off that price by next summer lol.
bit of a bargain i think
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Hi,
I thought the eurotunnel left from Folkestone? thats as south as it gets isn't it? I'm not trying to be funny, honest. I'm just interested if there is somewhere more northern that I could get it from, as we drive from the north of Scotland.
This year we drove to Dover, took P&O, but I think i'd enjoy train better.
Advice welcome
------------- everything will be ok in the end, if its not ok, its not the end. Anon.
Bit of advice. Don't get too close to the caravan in front when on the train. I presumed it was like the ferry & followed the van in front. When he stopped there wasn't enough room in the carriage for me so I had to reverse 25ft into the next carriage. I waited to be called forward on the way back.
