What is the forecast? I am immune to seasickness but OH always worries.

how is the packing going. are nearly ready to go.

Hi Margaret, yes, loads of stuff in the caravan, now have to clean the house, but this time we are paying a ten year old neighbour to draw the curtains, move the mail and water the plants so he won't be able to see the dust on top of shelves! I just hope the new Sky viewing card comes in time as OH needs his telly when away.

weather.co.uk says winds will be at 16kmph monday, which is quite low.

I wouldnt worry too much on the Norfolk Line boats on the Dover-Dunkerque route. I have been over in quite choppy conditions and it was hardly noticeable they are well stabilised - unlike their ships on the Irish Sea!

van is packed still have to clean the house. Oh has gone to fill the car up and get the last few bits. We leave sunday lunch time for an evening crossing on the eurotunnel. staying in france sunday night and travelling to germany on monday.

Monday is supposed to be getting better weather with the winds dying down - this is a technical forecast and also one which is bound to be ok as most of the kids will be back in school.  However beware large unsuitable vehicles driven by mumsies close to schools and expect the unexpected in those vicinities.

A good roll of bread with a glass of milk with breakfast is good for seasickness.  If your belly if full the food can't slosh around in it!
