Does anyone know of any storage places in Cambrils or Miami plaza, Cambrils, Costa Dorada. We camp at Playa Montroig and want to store a caravan now nearby. Any info would be welcomed. Many thanks.

There is a place between Cambrils/Salou/Reus which does storage  http://www.caravancare.com.es/english/ who tow to site, etc.  There's another caravan dealership, selling caravans, which also has some in storage - actually fronting on to what used to be the main road until the by-pass road was built, but I can't remember their name.

Hi Suzanne

We have stored our caravan at Torre for the first time last year, this is now our second year.We did have to pay the whole year when we left it there for the first time. No you dont't have to phone ahead to arrange storage just talk to reception when you are there. But they do need some form of documentation for the caravan (we used a copy of our insurance) Bob is lovely but not good on the phone.  Driving down we did it in two stops the first two hours from Calais just off the A26 and the second just past Lyon off the A7. When we towed we went the A26 towards Paris reims and Troyes then A5 Chaumont A31 towards Djon and Beaune where you join the A6 towards Lyon The A7 at Orange joing the A9 for Nimes and Perpignan Follow signs for Barcelona cross the boarder the follow the A7 I think it is exit 36.  But now when we drive we go through the mountains as it is cheaper and quicker wouldn't recommend towing this route.

Hope this helps good luck if you want any more info just ask.

Lynda

Suzanne

I used my insurance certificate as documentation just remember to write your registration number on it (this makes it easier for them to trace your caravan when you want it) When are you going down? we are going for 4weeks starting mid june  never know we may see you.

Good luck

Lynanne
