Hi ,I am looking to book a 2 week holiday next july in either brittany or normandy,2 adults and 2 kids aged 6 and 9,we would like a pool with slides and a beach close by.p.s we have a touring caravan.any help would be grateful,cheers

Try L,Etang des Haizes at La Haye du Puit in Normandy the site is about 20 min from some nice beaches and the site has very good facilities including Pool with slides , Bar , small shop , childrens play area , snack bar cafe , and the owner Patrice Laurent speaks very good english also the town is 5 min walk to town centre also there is good rally in july each year run by the Camping and Caravanning Club which is ideal for first timers in France . And if fishing is your thing there is also lake with free fishing which has lots of Carp . The site is very family orientated  and popular with British and in a lovely part of Normandy and only 30 mins drive from Cherbourg ferry port

Yep we stayed at there too (l'etang des haizes) just on our way down to dordogne, really lovely campsite, will definitely visit it again!
