There are a couple of CL or CS sites near to Croft Circuit - often have touring cars and super bikes there, plus track days if you're feeling brave!!

Regretfully no F1 Grand Prix there now. When we went by about 6 weeks ago they building a new dual carriageway past the track. As you say Nevers is very convenient for the circuit. There are certainly campsites near to Spa in Belgium and Monza in Italy although not stopped at either.

Didn't know no F1 - David - but they must have some sort of racing events still?

When we were in Nevers last there was something going on at Magny Cours - and the site was heaving!  We had the last pitch with electricity, and after we arrived there were lots and lots of tents pitching up everywhere there was space.  We got up, early shower and off, before most were even thinking about getting up!

Its only F1 as far as I know. There are all sorts of other series that will still be held there.
