Anyone been here? Wanted to book Duninrell but they didn't have any mobiles left. We have booked a week here for Easter next year- only £130 and have got the ferry for £35 so a complete bargain.

Never been to Holland before either so really excited!! Feel a little guilty not to be camping but at this price it was irresistable.

Beekse Bergen is fab. We spent 2 weeks there last summer in our own tent though.

There is a train that takes you to the safari park , a boat that takes you to the playland (which is next to the safari park) or of course you can take the car which you can park in the carpark (not free though) or drive through the safari park yourself :)

Be carefull though as the boat and train dont run late and it is a long walk back  lol

There are also boat and bus excursions through the safari park.

There is a shop, a snack bar, restaurant, bike hire and swimming pool onsite.

There are organised activities for kids during the summer and school vacations . If you have kids and they want to join in, dont be afraid to talk to the kids team in English and I am pretty sure they will be able to communicate in English so your kids dont miss out.

I remember there being ready erected frame tents near the footballl/activies field and personally wouldnt want to be pitched there (our tents are allergic to balls lol) but think they were vaconsoleil. There were others which I assume must be the Eurocamp tents in a much better position (in a corner field ).

When you stay at Beekse Bergen you get a free pass to other places. The only one really close is an indoor swimming complex around 30 mins drive away but it really is worth the drive. Fab pool :)

Have a great time, am sure you will :)

We stayed at Beekse Bergen a couple of summers ago and we totally loved it. We didn't stay with Eurocamp but I recall seeing their mobiles and they were in a good location, a reasonable walk to the pool and the boat to take you over to Speeland. We walked to Speeland loads of times round the lake. The weather wasn't brilliant when we were there but we went to the safari park and the pool loads of times and we hardly spent a penny, other than buying food. We are off to Duinrell at Easter and rather foolishly perhaps have plummed for a tent with Eurocamp...

Thanks Angie and sezzamac.

Sound like we'll have a good time. Have booked a mobile as we were being wimpy. Have camped in the UK in April in the tent but alway associate crossing the channel with warmer temps!

Really looking forward to it now! roll on 2010!

alfie and myself worked here for Eurocamp for the whole season as couriers a few years ago-we LOVED it!  I agree with everybody else about all the facilities-even if it's raining there's loads to do.

My advice would be to either take your bikes or hire them on site-it will be worth every penny-not expensive though.  Even if you don't go off the site-the place is huge, so makes it more exciting to explore!!

Enjoy!!
