...oh and forgot to mention we have a new tent. We went for the same as you Andy, an Outwell Vermont XL (although we are just waiting for a replacement because it had a small hole in it - but it was great!)

We've been given 159 arriving on the 28th until the 17th, so we'll see you there! Good tent choice.

We thought about going a bit further south, but it was just so nice last year we weren't sure we'd find anything quite as good. Just hope the weather is as good as it was this year.

We are on 163 from the the 25th July to the 8th August so there will be three outwells on that side!!!! Kenny even remembered to book our fridge this year!

Have you sorted ferries yet? We are still waiting for the Condor ferry details but might go for the usual...Brittany ferries overnight to St Malo returning on the fast craft - Cherbourg to Portsmouth. However, it has really gone up in price this year so not decided yet.

Hi

Sorry to hijack this thread.... but i booked here today :( 9-23 July 2010

Weve been offered pitch 166 or 18 and just wondered in your obviously happy experiecnes, if 166 was ok, wondered if it was too close to the tennis for noise at night?

Ive a 2 and 3 yr olds that will need to sleep...... one would sleep through a storm the other needs any slight excuse to be awake!!!

Many thanks for any advise....

I need to confirm to them tomorrow......

I am so sorry I dont know abour pitch 18. Pitch 166  is on La pointe( a few down from where we are staying 25th July onwards) . La pointe is lovely, I presume this one is near the entrance but I sont think that would be problem. There is a path behind the tents from which on the odd occasion you could here teenagers going back to their tents at night.
