Thanks for confirming it is o'k Oliver , if anyone spots a smaller similar unit I'd appreciate it.
I'm glad you mentioned an inverter because although I can see it would be fine when travelling a lot, I'm worried that if I don't use the car much for a few days that the battery would get drained by running or recharging equipment.
Also I'm not sure whether to go the inverter route or use item specific dc converters plugged into a lighter socket adapter.
