Hi, Looking to go to france middle of next sept and we need a stopover site around the poitiers area just off the motorway.  Thought we might try a municipal site as it's just for one night but need one that stays open until the 16th.  Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

just south of Poitiers is Les Peupliers at Couhe. Excellent site I highly recommend. it takes the ACSI card and was open til the 30th Sept this year.

The following site is just a few minutes from Junc 28 and is open all year. It is just about opposite Futuroscope if you fancy a day there.

thanks everyone, great choice there, especially interested in camping du futur.  This website is brilliant, had so much great info about all sorts of things, got a great deal on ferry crossings last month after reading about a code for norfolkline.

Hi we stayed on Du Futur earlier this year on our way up from Spain, it is a friendly little site with easy access to Poitiers and surrounding area, the English owners are very helpful with advice on markets etc, have a good time wherever you choose.
