i wonder if anyone knows when the french take their hols,is it the first two weeks in august

The busiest period is between the 2 public holidays mid Jul & Mid Aug. The weekend after Assumption day hol(Aug 15)the campsites are much quieter. The first 2 wks of Jul are fairly busy because Dutch/Belguim/France school hols start early July.

thank you we are going 8th aug to 22aug so it looks as though the first week will be busy and the second week quiter
