Advise please we are looking at a site in spain called Villanova i cant find any reviews on this site and was wondering if anyone had stayed here i have read some reviews in trip advisor but they are more for using there caravans which by the looks of the reviews are not very good.

Stayed there first 2 weeks in October using ACSI card and found it an excellent site.....open all year.......also a C&CC rally venue. Very large around 1250 pitches- most are seasonal.......with 375 seperate touring pitches and excellent facilities, restaurant and supermarket, would certainly recommend it and will use it again if in that area. Bus route into town (2 miles) starts at the site entrance and train to Barcelona from Vilanova i la Geltrú takes about 30 minutes.

We stayed at Villanova park in March 2008. Had a heart attack on site!

We can't speak too highly of the help & assistance my wife got from the management whilst I was in intensive care and also from the other campers who could not do enough.

As for the site - we thought it was very good. Spacious pitches (many heavily shaded) lots going on on site - good shop good restaurant pool in season, zoo, playground and really good heated toilet blocks. Only downside was a kerb to mount to get on a pitch (this was the trigger for my heart attack) but everyone will help.

We thought this was well positioned for beaches, shopping & barcelona - car or train. (also well placed for healthcare with hospital & ambulance station only about a mile away.

We would certainly go back - its a big site with lots of statics also.
