Has anyone any advice for visiting Austria - Salzburg and Vienna? Looking for quiet sites with easy train or bus access into cities, maybe using Camping cheques or ACSI Sites. How busy could it be in late May/early June?  Thank you.

Its been a few years since visiting Salzburg and Vienna but in Salzburg we stayed at a campsite called Camping Nord Sam. Its on the northern edge of the city which is only a short bus ride from just out side the campsite. In Vienna we stayed at Aktiv Camping Neue Donau which was a bus and U-Bahn ride into the centre. If I went back to Vienna I think I would consider somewhere near Klosternburg and go in by train.

You could have temps of 30 C just as easily as a bit of snow.

Great either way.
