We are going to France for the first time this year.  We're going for just over 2 weeks at the end of July and although we have already booked our ferrry crossing and main sites for our stay, we are looking to book a couple of overnight stops either side of the ferry crossing.

Can anyone suggest a good campsite guide or suitable cheap sites just outside of Caen and between Caen & Rennes). 

As first timers, we are also looking for information on tolls etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try this website below. got it from another link somewhere.Look at  the motorway logo click on that and look up the  main route you will be taking  and this guide will tell you what sites are close to the autoroutes.This will tell you distances from the motorway also click on some of the sites as these forward you to their websites
