Sorry but smee again!

Looks like we will be using the tunnel becaus eof better crossing times and tesco vouchers will eat the difference in cost between it and the ferries.

Q1  Can you book online using vouchers or do you have to do it over the phone.

Q2 WE are planning a late evening crossing, is it possible to park up for the night close top the terminal exit in Calais?

Thanks

You can't use Tesco vouchers to book online.  You need to get your Eurotunnel vouchers from Tesco first then phone Eurotunnel.  They will then give you a reference number (with the last number missing!) which you need to put onto the vouchers before sending them to Eurotunnel.  You will then get an e-mail back with the full reference number to use when you travel.

There isn't anywhere at the Calais terminal but it's only a 5 minute drive to City Europe and you can stay there overnight - there's an area set aside for overnight parking for Motor Homes.  Don't know if this is any use to you as you don't say what you are travelling in.

you have to do it over the phone , they give you a provisional booking then you have i think 4 working days to get your deal tokens in the post to eurotunnel.

once eurotunnel have your deal tokens they will confirm it and give you a reference number to use when you check in.

as to parking up at the terminal , not sure , but its only a short drive to the aire de 2 caps service area so possible to park up there.

I think the clue is in the Outfit description a caravan, and as above, a lot of people use the Aire des 2 Caps, which is not far away from the tunnel.

You should be able to park at the services in the tunnel complex, you will see them on the way out. Which way are you going? theres no need to go out of your way to park. Plenty park on supermarket car parks.

But you don't go through the tunnel complex on the way out of Coquelles, when you come off the train, you are straight onto the motorway, or do you mean driving back into the tunnel complex afterwards?

As you come off the train, up ramp, in a car you are directed left, along a bit, right hand bend, down a slip rd, along a straight rd, 500m, services on left.

Ah, that explains it, we've only ever gone in the motorhome, and as you come off the train, you go up the slope, you then turn right, right again and you are on the motorway, it's obviously different when you travel in a car.
Caravans go in the same carriages as motorhomes, so the OP won't go past the services either then on the way out, as they have a caravan.
At least that's all cleared up now.

Which incidentally has a cracking tv reception.
