We are inbetween caravans at the moment and have booked the ferry to Denmark in the summer.  Does anyone know of a company which hire out touring caravans in Denmark or South Sweden.

if you google Denmark caravan hire it looks like you have a number of options. I have not opened any.

I have already done this and so far when I have looked on the page it has been static caravan hire not touring.  I will keep on googling though.

Caravan hire in Danish - google it, and you get several websites including this one.  The first one I opened shows a touring caravan, so it's looking good, but I don't speak any Danish and the website doesn't have an English option.  However, if you look further down the list you may find something which does - or use Google translator to help.

It says they usually only hire saturday to saturday in school holidays.

30% discount low season

gives deposit and weekly hire rate

States vans are not luxury/top notch etc, but this is reflected in the price (and several do look quite old)

Advises you call in to view before deciding which to hire.

Booking for 2010 opens 1st April.

Too long to translate everything!

1600kr=£185, sounds reasonable if the caravan is tidy inside, they look fairly old, late 80s, early 90s, I imagine you could email/phone the company & they would speak English, plenty of Danes do.
