We’ve got a weeks holiday at half term in October and I really want to get some sun given that the summer has been so “inconsistent”.
Looking at charter holidays they’re all too expensive and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a warm camping location for this time of year. I guess I am restricted to those places I can get to by car and ferry. So that’s Spain. Any ideas on what the weather would be like at the end of October in Northern Spain?
Thanks for your ideas.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We went to the Costa Del Sol last half term. It was the worst holiday weather we've ever had! Anywhere! I wouldn't bet on northern Spain being any different to southern France really....
I think that for guaranteed sun, and warmer climes at that time of year, you have to go even further afield. try Egypt, or Morrocco? There are good deals to be had if you look hard enough.
Yes the Canaries are usually warm and of course Egypt, Tunisia. Have been to Marbella and had lovely weather in October (friends live in Nerja) But with the way the weather is at the moment
I had beautiful weather in France in November, 24 degrees C. No guarantees though, same for Spain.
It can be totaly different per day, on day warm and sunny, and you may even experience the first snow of the season the same day! The next day may be just as warm again.
Now that I am writing about it: feel like going there again.
