can anyone reccomend a site  to stay  with my motor home  close to paris. we  will be heading south  after a 2 nightstop there. not  too bothered about  facilities as wont be spending much time on the site,, prefer cheap and cheerful if anybody has any ides..thanks

The campsite at Jablines is quiet and very suitable for short stays.

There's a campsite near the Longchamp Racetrack in the Bois de Bologne.
They used to have a bus which took you to the nearest metro (about a Euro) but that was a couple of years ago.
Very handy for the centre though.
