So after previous procrastinations on the forum about getting overseas with the caravan I decided to go for it. The ferry has been booked and the savings account emptied, when the friendly club doing the booking said they needed all the money up front for DFDS!!!

The plan is to go to Schleswig-Holstein area on the North Sea coast and I've fired off a few mails/booking pages for a few campsites over the past 24 hours and found a few broken links on interesting prospects. However if anyone else has stayed in this area and has recommendations, that would be great!

It's a small site in the national park area on the east cost looking forward to it.

Btw David, read your Italian blog with interest as my wife wants to visit Italy, re-live her teenage years I think.

It looks like a nice campsite and prices seem quite good. Tried with the translation via Google but found the original Germman easier to get on with! It says pitch size 75/90 sq mts how did you find that? Thinking of going that way next Spring so will make anote of this campsite.

Hi David,

Bit on the generous side from our experience. One or two of the hardstanding pitches would be about that. If you're staying for longer then you'll possibly on end up on a smaller pitch.
