hi we are planning a trip in August and heading down to croatia via slovenia in our campervan. We would like to spend some time by the coast. Does any know if we can get away without booking campsites ahead, Ive heard it gets pretty busy. We would prefer to just turn up, but this may be asking for trouble. Thanks Alvinpocco

emhh twice ive toured that beautiful coastline in august,first time when it was Yogoslavia and got turned away from two campsites as they were full,usually  somethink nearby acceptable second time when it was Croatia turned away once,in short if you don,t want to book be prepared to look elsewhere on the spot.Ended up camping on senj beach once as I couldn,t be bothered to keep going.Many sites will be full.
