We went for one week and stayed nearly three!  Last year was their first year taking camping cheques and they were offering 7 nights for  6 and 14 nights for 11 cheques but they were unusual in that they wanted the cheques up front. We gave them 6 to start with then they let us give them a further 5 to take advantage of the 14 for 11 but people we met there weren't allowed to do this. These offers aren't in the CC book so we were pleasantly surprised. We'd gone to gatecrash the CC&C rally there and the price with the cheques was cheaper than the rally price.

no 7 for 6 this year (nothing on book and when we prebooked the pitch they havent offered us a free night) but compared to their normal prices its still a good deal.

Absolutely fabulous site our all time favourite. Right on the river you can canoe directly from site. Food in take away and restaurant lovely, delightful Dutch family who all speak superb English set in the most stunning garden pitches, you just watch the flowers grow each day! Don't take camping cheques in June but they do their own 3 nights for the price of two, or something similar to that.

We stayed here last September and have to agree with Lindylou's comments. We were impressed. Also at that time of the year we were able to pickup fresh walnuts from around the campsite which I have never done before. I have put a review on here.
