Hi Joanna
lake garda is not really the most ideal place for cycling. Riva del garda has a few cycle lanes and you can get to the next village ( can't remember the name but it is literally a couple of miles away. After that the road around the lake is very very busy and narrow in places and and we didn;t dare chance it and we are seasoned cyclists. away from the lake the area is very hilly and unless you are really keen mountain bikers ( you know lycra shorts and bums in the air sorts!!) there are no cycling for softies routes. We stayed at a site near Molena del Ledro a small lake about 9 miles from Riva and biked around that lake in about an hour. The bike around Lake garda would take you a couple of days it is huge!!.
