Points are awarded based on the season of your stay, ie high season at 2 % Low season at 15% . So a € 100 stay in high season gains 2 points, and in low season 15 points. Your points can then be "encashed " against your next stay at a Castels site at the rate of 1 point = € 1 . In effect you are getting a variable rate discount between 2 % to 15 % depending on the season of your stay. Some people might think it useful to have an early holiday, gain points/euros at 15% and spend them in a 2 nd high season holiday as euros. Typically French complexity, because in low season, the prices are low anyway, so eg a pitch at € 20 in low season earns € 3 euros to spend against the same pitch at € 40 say in high season. ie 7.5 % discount in high season. Simple is n't it?
Some Castels sites are not fully in favour of the scheme, ( too complex) , but if you present your card, we got 10 % discount on some in July last year.
Up to you whether you think it worth the €10
