Hi there,

We have a trip to Chalain planned for this August and having read many many reviews I have a couple of questions...

The first is regarding loos.. I read somewhere that none of the toilets have seats?  Am wondering if anyone out there has been to this site with small children and how they managed to sit on the loo without a seat?  Is it worth taking some disposable seat liners or not?  Silly question maybe but am starting to fret about it a little!

The second question is about swimming trunks in the main pool area - are only speedo-type shorts allowed and not bermuda-style ones?

Its quite common on french sites for the loos to have no plastic or wooden seats. Easier to keep clean I guess. If you have little ones then one of those seats you use when potty training might be the answer. Speedos in site pools is also the norm in almost every site in France. Bermudas ore banned for hygeine reasons and very few sites make exceptions to this.

magically has it spot on      just go and forget about the simple things in life   just  BE and DO     no point in worrying too much           

 just imagine you are french and you come here to eat steak which  will mean it is burnt     given that we think their steaks are raw     just eat it
