I have a Sunncamp 3 socket supply (plus I have purchaesd European 2 pin adaptor just in case) from which I run lighting and a coolbox via a Coleman 240/12v adaptor in the UK.
We are heading to France this year for the first time and I suddenly became concerned as to whether any of this kit will work. It is all set up for 240v input including the adaptor but correct me if I am wrong but don't the French operate at 110v. If this is the case and remembering my basic Science at school does this not cause an ampage/power issue where things don't work or burn out hence twin voltage hairdriers etc..
Do I need a 110/240v adaptor although I cannot find such a thing or am I wrong and will my kit work fine. Is there anything that will not work ( other than high wattage equipment which exceeds the input)
Any advice from more seasoned travellers gratefully received.
