What You Can Bring into Norway -- With certain food exceptions (such as meat, meat products, and cheese), personal effects intended for your own use can be brought into Norway. If you plan to take them with you when you leave, you can bring in cameras, binoculars, radios, portable TVs, and the like, as well as fishing and camping equipment. Visitors of all nationalities can bring in 200 cigarettes, or 250 grams of tobacco and 200 sheets of cigarette paper, or 50 cigars; and 1 liter of spirits or 1 liter of wine. Upon leaving, you can take with you up to NOK25,000 ($5,000/£2,500) in Norwegian currency.

IATA, the World Travel Guide,
Visit Norway
all say you can take in upto 10 kg from an EEA country, which is the EU plus a few.

Thanks very much Gaynor and Liz.

My husband had two bike trips to Norway before and always want to take me to show me this beautiful country, we live in lake district but he said I see nothing yet, don't know how he got the information from now we are going to Norway end of July sail from Inmingham to Gothenburgh on commercial vessel (DSV), I think there are only 7 cabins on the vessel, the way of booking is very lay back, we think we booked but they still not take the money out credit card yet, there is an email confirmation but even that the sailing day has been changed once already, it was'nt cheap cost about £1,100 but save us drive all the way down the country and then up few hundreds miles and the time can relax on the vessel, sailing time is about 26 hours, I am a bit apprehension about it, so little information given, asked few friends been worked on the commercial vessel before told us commercial vessel is even better than passagers vessel, we should wait and see and will report back our experience

or, by the way, our camper van is just over 6 meters, I believe under 6 meters can save us a lot on the ferry cost
