We get there on the 18th Aug for 10 nights, can't wait! It will be our first time at pin

Just wondering does anyone take a kayak to use on the lake? is it easy to get to the lake?

Its a couple of minutes by car or 15 minute walk, it took us about 20 -25 mintues to get back up the hill, but we wasnt carrying anything

Depending on the size of the kayak and how heavy it is and how strong you are it could be a real pain in the rear....the track from the campsite although is wideish it is steep and with a long kayak could turn the air blue.

Thanks, don't like the hill word! We have wheels though.
Was just thinking if we should take it or not, it keeps the old man quiet, lol, with that and fishing, but then haven't told them when we booked ferry about a kayak? Wouldn't want to get to the port and it caused a prob?

OOOH can't wait to go now, shame everyone else will of left tho!!!!

We'll be there from next saturday until 6th August. First Time Can't wait!!   Don't know our pitch, booked through C&CC. But look out for our TT, and 6 people, 5 with Scottish accents!!!
