Yes been to a few over the years, excellent. Dutch are really fanatical campers. Off to Duinrell on the way back from Italy. UKCS reviews HERE. You'll get more replies in the camping abroad section.
I live on the Dutch/German border if i can help with any info about area's that your thinking of, i will try giving you some more info,we are also heading off to holland this weekend i think to Kampeercentrum Klein Canada it has been recomended to us by friends who go most weekends must be good.
The waterparks are usually man made lakes with the usual waterski swimming ect

Delftse Hout, great little town, nice pool & country park adjacent. UKCS reviews HERE. Another great site in the same chain is Koningshof. Lovely indoor pool, not far from the sea. Reviews HERE. Whilst there, use public transport to get about. Take or hire bikes & buy a cycling map at any local shop. Cyclists & walkers are treated like they are the most important travellers over there. Kept apart from motor traffic, good surfaces on the paths & all beautifully signposted using a really simple numbered sign system. Everyone speaks perfect English, the food is nice, the beer excellent. You'll love it.
Anywhere with Euros & lots of nice facilities ain't cheap. Costing us about £800 return Newcastle - Ijmuden with DFDS. It's much cheaper going to Dover, but we like the overnight service & the lump of driving it chops off. Best bit is the ferry terminal is about 1/2 hour from home for the journey back. What about Hull - Rotterdam?
Have you looked at Harwich - Hook of Holland crossing, when i was looking at Duinrell I thought it looked quite reasonable, I am sure it was about £400 return for the four of us

Agree with debs, we used Harwich -Hook in the past, but Harwich is not that easy to get to - tho shouldn't be too bad from Lincolnshire
There's a nice site [well we like it ] using Camping Cheques at Hellevoetsluis - although at the 'wrong' side of Rotterdam from Hook.
Delftsehout is / was good - well placed and lots to do - I think this is also better value with Camping Cheques
have fun - it's a great place -
we usually drive right round - up through Holland across that engineering marvel Aftsluitdijk, down through Friesland - lake district - to Nijmigen and if time allows to the hilly bits near Maastricht.
If you take Hariwch to Hook crossing you can use Tesco vouchers, this is what we did last year , it cost nothing for us as we had enough voucher value to pay for our return crossing.

We paid the same to go to Jersey last year.
Steve.
That doesn't surprise me, Condor are the only service suppliers, and they are no cheaper for us residents, damn monopolies! we rarely do the UK anymore rather use the money and go somewhere worthwhile and we love France and the low countries.

I have three sides, left, right and wrong - which one are you on?
