Has anybody recently come back from France and can tell me the price of the campingaz 907 refils. I have two bottles one empty and one with enough gas to get us by for a day. Not sure whether to just replace them here in the Midlands at a price of around £20 each or replace them when down in Les Sables d`Olonne. I would certainly need another refill whilst out there (3 in total will do it)

Another option i have is to take my two Calor 4.5kg bottles. Of course i realise theres no Calor over there but 2 X 4.5kg bottles will be enough. The only problem here is space in my camping trailer. I would have to mount them on a bracket attached to the trailer drawbar. So another question.... these bottles would be securely fixed obviously, but they will be on show. We are using the ferry from Dover and im wondering if there are any restrictions of gas being outside the trailer/vehicle? If there is i will have to use the campingaz for sure for the convienience of the space they take up.

Thanks.    Rob

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

I seem to remember it was about 18 EUR in most supermarkets when we were there in May.

We paid 21 Euro on our French campsite recently, I only wanted it as a spare for the Calor Lite in case it ran out. As it happens the weather was good and we didn't use much Calor so I used it for the Cadac.

Dave.
