Hi - we are off in our campervan to France this August, this time with our dog. We cross at Dunkirk and are aiming for the Dordogne / Aquataine region - avoiding Paris at all costs.
Does anyone know of good campsites that allow dogs and have good walks etc nearby? Will be heading the Rouen, Tours, Le Mans, Loire valley kind of route down towards Bordeaux. Also - have any of you been to the sea with a dog along the La Rochelle bit of the coast? Are dogs allowed even?
Also, any tips on vets on the way back? We sail early on Sunday morning so would have to be a vet on Friday (presuming they are not open on Saturdays?).
