we have grown as a family since we camped abroad last and really don't want to go down a roof box or trailer line so we were hoping to use a ready erected tent. we know they are available as they were in evidence on our last trip to france. which companies offer this service? we went with select sites last time and have always been to the north especially around st malo area, cherbourg and chateu de gandspette near calais.
Any recommendations for companies to look at?
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We have used a company called French Feedom Holidays in the past. Also, some sites have their own tents - look at the website for the site you like and check out what type of accommodation they are offering.
Canvas Holidays, Keycamp, Eurocamp, Vacansoleil, think Siblu do them as well, we've never used them for tents but have used their mobile homes, taking our own kit this year and saved ourselves £1500 and gained an extra 3 nights.

May 13 - Cala Gogo, St Cyprien (didn't go, hubby too ill to travel)
May 14 Ranc Davaine
August 14 Les Sablons
August 13 - Camping Playa Brava, Pals
Have a look through the campsite search as a number of smaller campsites also offer pre-erected tents but can't afford the marketing costs of the bigger companies.
When we went to Gorges du Chambon last month they had some ready erected tents, very smart looking little chalets and mobile homes. Worth checking out direct with campsite about prices.
To be fair, going to a site with a pre-erected tent is OK, but you will be adding around a £1000 to a fortnights holiday during peak, so buying a trailer or roofbox, and taking your own kit, will probably pay for itself after the first year, it's a no brainer IMHO.
