Can anyone recommend a site for next year in Languedoc or Riveria for 2011?
We went to Vendee this year (Camping Pong), but the weather was a bit iffy at times. Next year I want hot, hot, hot. Our requirements are on a nice sandy beach, walking distance to a few restaurants/shops/ice creams etc, nice pool complex and somewhere/someone for my son to play football with.
The sites I have looked at in these regions all seem so huge and comments are that they are extremely busy in July/August (we are restricted to travelling in school hols) and the facilities are stretched.
We've also been to Garangoire which we all absolutely loved. If I could pick it up and move it further south (and on a beach) that would be the perfect site for us.
So, can anyone recommend the perfect site? Many thanks in advance.

Hello Bedbug,
In June/July of this year we stayed at Le Serignan Plage, in Serignan, Beziers area.
We really liked it and would recommend it. It is right on the beach, the beach is lovely and sandy and was never busy when we went on it, it is very long, so I feel that you would always be able to walk and find a private spot.
It is a large site, but we felt that it was not ' in your face ', if you wanted all the activities etc, it was there, but you could also get away from it all too. The camping pitches were not right near all the entertainment etc.
The pool complex was nice and they had a lovely spa complex for the adults and ' kids ' clubs if you wanted to use them. They had sports fields etc.
There was a shop, a couple of bars and restaurants on site as well as a takeaway and if I remember correctly, a place selling ice creams.
It has a website with all the info, we really liked it there and we do like peace and quiet but we really enjoyed this site and will return.
Best wishes,
Jonah.
