Hi Mark,
How old are your kids? Ours are 4,7 and 13. There are three kids clubs for different ages up to 14 that operated during the day which varied in quality but got the kids mixing.
In the evening the hub for entertainment is the bar area where there is a nightly mini disco between 8-9pm which our two youngest and a lot of parents enjoyed. A couple of evenings a week there would be entertainment that would continue to 11pm - typically a singer or even line dancing! On Wednesday evenings the pool is reopened tween 8-11pm for night time swimming and is busy but great fun.
We were at the campsite 14- 28th August and the first week was busy in the pool after about 1pm but much quieter in the mornings and midday. You could get to the pool at around midday and find plenty of loungers (but not the reclining ones as they are bagged when the pool opens.!) Much less busy in the second week.
