Hi All

New to the site, first posting and need help.  We've been Tent campers for a couple of years and have progressed to a caravan.  Visited France for the first time this year (Normandy) and now feel confident to venture further afield.  Can anyone recommend a good site for a two week holiday (pref not too large and noisey) with a pool in the south of France, preferably near St Tropez or that area.  EHU essential and large pitches suitable for awnings and sunbathing.  We have two children 14 and 9 who are easily entertained by a pool, fishing and sun. Any help appreciated as I've been advised to book early for a good site.

Hi Pauline,  Yes we would consider looking into that.  Would appreciate it if you could point us in the right direction for some site ideas.  Thanks for taking the time to reply.

The west of StTropez tends to be quieter and prettier than the east, Cavaliere as mentioned is nice as are a lot of the small coastal towns around there. This year we stayed at Bormes Les Mimosas at Camping Du Domaine, no pool, but on the beach instead, a large foresty site, really nice. Pitches vary wildly at most sites in france, if you stipulate a large pitch etc or google earth the site you interested in and pick a pitch you can be ok.

We did notice a site this year whilst we were on the beach at Port Grimaud that looked like it was on the beach further round the bay, didn't get chance to check it out, maybe others know about it??

Oh and 2weeks of 30deg+ and glorious sun!! and wine at 2euros/litre from the vineyard!!......heaven.
