Great site for that area - Just behind the dunes means no drive through the nightmare traffic to go to the beach. The beach is very steep at most places where you enter the water so not great for 3&6 yr olds.
There is a funfair that can make quite a noise but it is next to the mobile homes - you will probably find yourself the other side of a HUGE campsite.
We have been 4 times so we like it - our kids are now 18 and 16
Views of the mountains from the beach are great
Staff are very pleasant.
Don't forget to pack a wind break - If the tramontana blows it REALLY blows - gusting over 100km/hr it can be painful

If that doesn't get you, the Mistral will
I've never tried Le Soleil, but have been to La Sirene and it's a lovely area but, as TethersEnd says, the beach is steep.
We went to this site in 2009 and as the others have said it is huge. However we did not feel crammed in and it was not noisy. Swimming Pool was excellent. For younger children there was a fairly large play area however our kids are teenagers so cannot comment, or on the children clubs. The traffic in the local area was horrendous and we only ventured out early in the day. We enjoyed our holiday but we would not go again in the school holidays because of the traffic and the drive down, not because of the site.
argeles has the biggest concentration of campsites in France therefore the traffic is obviously a problem the southern end towards the port is ideal flat beaches plenty of parking unless you are the type who wants to be 10 yards from the beach parking in a huge field 800 yards from the beach at the roundabout is ideal we have not been to your site instead we pitch up in an inland site and drive in never a problem with traffic and we have been in july and august had a look at the north end ugh traffic
