After your great help with finding a site for Southern Vendee in August just gone, I was wondering if anyone can help with sites in Normandy. We have 4 boys who will be 12,8,6 & 3 when we travel at Whit week and would like a site with a pool and some sport/recreational activities/area's for them & with the hostoric and nice beaches in/around the local area,.

We use Cote de Nacre in St. Aubin sur Mer when we travel with our grandchildren13,19,8 and 6. It has a good pool complex with slides, it also has free bouncy castles and a nice park. They love it and when asked where they want to go on holiday that is always their first choice. It is also an ACSI site so can be a lot cheaper out of the high season.

We stayed at Doamain de Drancourt (sp?) near St Valery Sur Somme a few years back and we really liked it. It had a good pool area and a bar in the3 chateau with an adjoining room for films which our children loved. Lots to see and do in the area and a shortish drive form Calais.

Hi
Theres a lovely site near Honfleur called 'Camping Domaine de la Catiniere'. It a great site with loads for the kids. Honfleur is a coastal town with harbour and loads to do. Check it out - its well worth a visit. Really concientious family run it and their aim is to have happy customers - will do almost anything for you!

Went to L'Etang Des Haizes a couple of years ago. Brilliant pool and activities laid on (not sure if there would be whit week or only in July / Aug). Also been to Le Brevedent, was good for our first French trip but too many other English people there to get the full french camping experience.
