Hi, New to this forum, hope I am in the correct box!
We are hoping to take our caravan to Brittany next August. It will be ourselves and one 15 year old boy who is sceptical about coming with us (big age gap with bros and sister so only child syndrome). We are torn between wanting him to have an action packed fun hol and us in a first time discover Brittany holiday.
Someone suggested Yelloh but the reviews are soooo mixed. I was happy with La Plage until I read different reviews.
Then the sites I like all seemed to be a big wow but the kids were under 12. Any advice would be really appreciated everyone. Thank you

Have a look at Camping du letty in Benodet, we went for our first trip to Brittany and found the site excellent, there are loads of reviews on this site about it.

Id suggest the Carnac area - Camping Les Druids is a small site but really good quality. La Plage is really nice too. I know you mentioned reviews but i tend to take them as a guide rather than gospel. People have different ideas about what a campsite should be like so the odd negative review is inevitable. I visited the Plassey in Wales recently, then immediately about turned and left - a terrible place! Lots of people love it though. Back to the point - Camping Kervillor in south Brittany is really good for kids and walking distance to a nice town.

Another vote for Ty Nadan, infact we have just booked it. (2nd visit as went 3 years ago) We have a four year age gap and our son was effectivly alone. As there are tour operators and its an activity site there are lots of british and dutch youngsters there, we never saw him in the evenings was always playing badminton with other kids of similar age. Have also done Chateau des Ormes these are both Castels sites and hence plenty to keep the youngsters occupied.

I would agree with the last 2 posts - Ty Nadan. Really action packed for a teenager, although you do pay extra for a lot of the activities.

We love the site but not overly impressed with the immediate area, the site itself is a little isolated.
