After spending hours searching the web, I have reduced my choice to two campsites, Cala gogo and le Soleil. Both are owned by the same group but I think Cala gogo might be the quieter option. But I can't find any reviews on the campsite, so I was wondering if anyone has visited recently.
We will probably be staying in a canvas mobile home because the site accommodation looks very small and canvas actually work out cheeper if we book before tommorrow!

We had a great time It was very quiet whilst we where there pools almost to our selves during the week a little busier at the week-ends
Nice friendly staff,They loved to try out their English which meant we couldn't try out our french much but it was great holiday.
Easy acces to the beach via a gate. As you probably already know it can be quite breezy down there.
A small shop on site fairly well stocked, Evening entertainment was good, but it was also nice to just sit and relax out side our tent, Mind you the noise of crickets did tend to get on our nerves a little but hubby found best cure was to go and shake the nearest tree ahah
Showers and toilets where top notch even had tropical flower beds planted in side really clean and relaxing.
Only thing I would say is make sure you have transport as it is a fair walk in either direction to St Cyprien its self or into Argeles-sur-mer.
Canvas do some very good deals along with a few other companies we found it worked out cheaper for us and 3 kids 15, 10 and 8 to fly. just wish we had hired a car. and we could have seen a lot more of the areA.
You have now got me wanting to book and go again but not alowed this year as eldest son is doing his GCSE in June
don't think he would be happy at been left at home
My daughter is also doing her GCSE's next year but we are looking at going at the end of August, so whilst she will miss the results, I hope the holiday will make up for it.

I stayed in 2000 and 2002 both times in my motorhome and both times in late May.Initially i was going to stay 1 night but ended staying 10.Guess that tells you i liked it.
Pitches were a good size (100m) nice and grassy.Pool complex very good,Pizzas to die for (best out of Italy?) guarded gate with direct access to the nice sandy beach.Staff very friendly (lot of dutch staff in 2000) and excellent abloutions block.
