Parc De Montsabert is great. Have just spent the last two hours making a photo-book with Snapfish as a Chritsmas present for my MIL who was there with us this summer. Looking at the photos it really shows how much space there was in the campsite. Really enjoyed it, would go back to it without any hesitation.
Its a nice laid back place so I believe. We thought we'd have a quietish first week in the Loire , then something a little bit more lively for the second....as long as its not like Butlins! Still havent really decided where yet.

It is really relaxing, they do have activities for older kids, but not all day every day. There are family activities at night but all very low key. Its not a place for a family needing constant entertainment.
It is the space in the site that is great.

Now hubby's decided he wants a site where he can go kayaking or canoeing
