Hi
I have been a member on here for a while, but tend not to post. We have previously had a tent, but have recently (about 6 weeks ago) upgraded to a folding camper (crusader, 1999 model). In the past we have taken the tent to france a number of times, and are again going to france next year with the f/c. In the past we have used the ferry, but this time was considering eurotunnel. I noticed on the camping and caravan site that in 2010 members were able to get 10% off eurotunnel prices. Are they doing the same for 2011 ? If so, the £24 discount off the eurotunnel price nearly (65%) covers the cost of joining the c&c club (£37). Just wondering if it would be worth joining.
Regards
Mark
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
You could get them to book your campsite as well if there is one you like, in the brochure that Bob mentioned.
We have booked through them for next summer and the price was £56 less than booking direct with the campsite.
Either that, of if you shop at Tesco, swap your vouchers for 'Deals' and if you have enough, get a Eurotunnel crossing for nothing as some members of this forum do.

Yes, thanks to Mr Tesco we have had free, or virtually free, crossings for about the last 4 years
But you'll have to be quick: after 5th of December Tesco vouchers will only get 3x face value if exchanged for Deals, at the moment it is still 4x.
So if, for example, a Eurotunnel crossing costs £122 return (that's the cheapest I can find for our motorhome), and you have £30 in Tesco vouchers, that will give you £120 of Eurotunnel vouchers, leaving you with £2 to pay.
You have to exchange the Tesco vouchers for Eurotunnel vouchers BEFORE booking.
