I sent for some vouchers to be redeemed at Eurotunnel and I have received £140 in vouchers but it doesnt say on them that they have to be used at Eurtunnel, can i use them to say have a meal at bella italia as I dont think that the fare would be £140 anyway?
I sent them off before they were reduced in value as they are valid for 6 months from the day of issue anyway.

I had always thought they were dedicated to Eurotunnel but as you say there is nothing on the vouchers that actually says Eurotunnel. Even the T&C's on the reverse seem a bit vague. However they are all indexed so whether that makes a difference I am not sure. Best idea would be to phone Club Card.
I think you'll be surprised at the cost of Eurotunnel - especially with a caravan! Our quotes for two separate return crossings were £212 and £242 - and those are out of peak season. It might be best to check the cost of the crossing first before cashing them in against a meal.
It was £272 return for us next August. Luckily Mr Tesco assisted us in this so we only paid £6. Our vouchers had "Eurotunnel" printed on them in big friendly letters though.

I've just checked mine and the only difference between my restaurant ones and the tunnel ones are that the restaurant ones say something about not being for drinks, set meals or merchandise.
Although it doesn't actually say "Eurotunnel" on them, on the left hand side there is a code - S6018 - which is the code for Eurotunnel. If you look on Tesco website you will see that when you go to the Eurotunnel Deal, that is the code. So you wouldn't be able to use them for anything else, as it is identifiable by that code.

So if I sold my clubcard vouchers for Eurotunnel. Would I be o.k to book now, as I need to travel in August to France.
Only I spoke to Tesco deals helpline and they told me to wait till February. I'm confused.

When Tesco issue their Club Card points those vouchers have quite long dates on them. When you convert to Eurotunnel vouchers they must be used within six months. I suspect they are suggesting waiting until February so that you have the next lot of Club Card points.
Once you have actualy booked Eurotunnel you can also amend the date of travel up to 12 months away, as I looked at cancelling mine once booked last year and was told I could amend to travel date within a 12 month period!
You can book now for August. I used my Tesco vouchers in October for our crossing next August in order to get the best price. As long as you redeem the vouchers within 6 months of receiving them you can book the actual crossing as far in advance as the crossings are available.
Update on where to redeem them, I have used 2 of the vouchers in Bella Italia and am going to use the £120 left to book the ferry for march and then as mentioned I can change that date if I want to go later, thanks for all the advice folks.
Manager at Bella Italia just took them without question so they can be used at any of the participating retailers when exchanged for the vouchers.
